Occupational Therapists help people improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. The instruct those with permanent disabilities, such as spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, or muscular dystrophy, in the use of adaptive equipments, including wheelchairs, Orthotics and aids for eating and dressing.
They also design or make special equipment needed at home or at work. Therapists develop computer-aided adaptive equipment and teach patients with severe limitations how to use that equipment in order to communicated better and control various aspects of their environment.
The core philosophy behind MOT program is to essentially broaden the horizons of the therapists in India. The program is designed to prepare individuals to be leaders in the field utilizing sciences as framework for problem solving.

Duration of the course:
The duration of Masters of Occupational Therapy (MOT) is 2 years full time with the medium of instruction being English during the course of study and for the examination.
Eligibility:
The candidates should have passed Bachelors in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University and Institution with at least 50% marks.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
The admission will be made on Merit based on the basis of the marks obtained in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University.
COMMON ENTRANCE TEST
Selection of the candidates, who are eligible to apply, shall be made on Merit prepared on the basis of marks obtained in CET for all the programs as per the schedule given by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University
